What is the purpose of Safe Patient?

This service aims to provide patient education and support around the patient’s condition, procedure and/or post-discharge risk stratification through social channels like Whatsapp. It allows doctors to register, subscribe, and manage patient cases, ensuring patients receive accurate and up-to-date information.

How can doctors participate in Safe Patient?

Doctors can participate by registering an account on the web platform and providing their credit card details for subscription. Once registered, they can add patients and create cases for each patient they wish to engage with.

How do patients engage with Safe Patient

Once a doctor adds a patient and creates a case, the service initiates an engagement with the patient via Whatsapp or other social channels. It delivers relevant and validated educational materials related to the patient’s condition, procedure and/or post-discharge risks. The content is regularly updated to comply with consumer protection and medico-legal requirements.

What support does Safe Patient offer patients?

Safe Patient is designed to provide educational support to patients regarding their condition, procedure and/or risks. It offers information and resources to help patients understand their medical conditions, treatment options, potential risks, and benefits. It can address common questions, concerns, and misconceptions related to informed consent.

How does Safe Patient ensure Privacy and Security of data?

Safe Patient adheres to strict consumer protection and medico-legal requirements to ensure patient safety and compliance. It complies with relevant healthcare regulations, privacy laws, and informed consent guidelines to maintain confidentiality, protect patient rights, and provide accurate information.

What happens if a patient needs additional help?

If a patient requires additional assistance beyond the educational material provided, they can reach out to Safe Patient via the social channel used for engagement (e.g., Whatsapp). Safe Patient is designed to notify the doctor if/when the patient requires assistance, enabling the doctor to address any specific questions or concerns. Safe Patient is not intended to replace the interaction between the patient and attending doctor. If at any time you, as the patient, feel you need to discuss something with your doctor, please do not hesitate or wait to contact him/her directly.

Is patient data securely handled by Safe Patient?

What is the subscription service?

The online subscription service provides access to a set number of patient support cases for a monthly fee. It offers convenient and affordable healthcare options for your patients, delivered via social platforms like Whatsapp.

How do I subscribe to the service?

To subscribe, visit the Safe Patient website and create an account. Choose a subscription plan that suits your needs and proceed to the payment page. Enter your credit card details securely to complete the subscription process.

What payment methods are supported?

We currently accept payments through major credit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription?

Yes, you have the flexibility to upgrade or downgrade your subscription plan. Simply log in to your account, go to the subscription settings, and select the desired plan. The changes will be reflected in your next billing cycle.

How do I cancel my subscription?
If you wish to cancel your subscription, log in to your account and navigate to the subscription settings. There, you will find the option to cancel your subscription. Please note that cancellations may be subject to certain terms and conditions.
Can I add or update my credit card details

Yes, you can add or update your credit card details at any time. Log in to your account, go to the payment settings, and follow the instructions to add or update your credit card information securely.

Can I add an additional credit card to my account?

Yes, you can add multiple credit cards to your account for payment flexibility. In the payment settings, you will find an option to add additional credit cards. You can choose your preferred card for each billing cycle.

Can I view my subscription history?

Your subscription history can be accessed through your account dashboard. Navigate to the subscription history section to view details of your previous payments, plan changes, and other related information.

What happens if my payment fails?

If your payment fails, we will notify you via email or through your account dashboard. You will have a grace period to update your payment information. If the issue persists, your subscription may be temporarily suspended until the payment is resolved.

Can I access a demonstration before subscribing?

Yes, you can. Simply create an account as a doctor and you’ll receive 5 FREE patient interactions. You will receive full access to the Safe Patient system. At the end of these 5 FREE interactions, you will be prompted to subscribe.
